Summer Vacation San Diego Style

Oh yeah! Cards by the pool while the kiddies swim. Now you know this is my kind of vacation!
(G-ma Emily Amber Camie Troy Mind Nat and Kyle)
Jake helping Luke be daring and brave. Olivia is next and Sawyer too.

Sawyer Cooper Breezy Nicole and Olivia is under.
Jer was working, so Troy and Kyle helped big time with these two and man did they love it!

After a weekend with G-pa all to himself, Luke pretty much thought G-pa was his private property. Would not let him out of his sight. Love you G-pa!

While Gma and Gpa (and Spinder) held down the fort (and cleaned up Luke's puke), Jer and I headed down to SD for a couple of days with these guys. Too bad the Jumbotron wasn't in the background of this pic cuz you'd be seeing our mugs on it workin that camera!

Lookin' like locals to me.

We told the boys we'd meet them back at the condo but first we had to sneak a ride on the coaster. Some kid cut in front of us in line, but Paige took care of him.

Yep he got to ride the whole way with Paigers interrogating him about his views on cutting in line. Don't mess with Paige and Roller Coaster lines.

The Mormon Battallion.
Definitely not the same Battallion I used to come to as a young chopper.
It is completely remodeled and a real treat.
An Old Town must!

The tourist who took this pic for us asked us to hold for just one second while he snapped one with his camera too. Pretty sure we're celebreties in some remote town in Japan.
Surfers turned cowboys. Talk about your Jacks of all trades!

Glad to have seats on the Trolley this time and lovin the poses kids.

If going Tandem is an indication of lasting love, these two have got it made....we won't mention the couple that didn't make it around the corner of the bike shop before heading back to switch for singles or the couple who talked trash to each other the entire time.

Just back from a dip in the pool where we met our new BFF, the ex-con who couldn't say enough about the top quality of our building AND the Fed Prison in Tuscon and how his time done there was really for naught seeing how we all can agree that Marijuana should be legal. I'm thinkin we need to skip all the touristy stuff and spend more time with the neighbors.

Thanks mom and dad for letting us use your pad and taking the kids!!!
And if I ever start to forget this weekend, I'll just turn on Sports Center and see highlights of the US getting robbed of their soccer goal and it will all come rushing back.

Bobbi's Lunch

Just a few of the people that came to wish Bobbi the best in her new ward. This girl will be so missed but we're glad she'll still be close which means no need for goodbyes!
Bobbi, you're an amazing friend who shares my love for bean burritos, blankets, homemade cheeze balls, lunch dates, late night pinochle, EFY tunes, and lol texts.
I just love you to pieces!!!

Already planning you're Welcome Back Lunch for when you move back into the ward:)

Lyrical and Hip Hop 2010

The Hip Hop Ladies: Breanna Erika Brittany

Erika in her Musical Theatre costume (Annie), Bree in Lyrical and Macie in Jazz!
Erika sneakin in the bunny.
Luke came to the Friday night show and every single dance he just had one small question:
"Where's Brittany?"

Hip Hop Marissa, Bree and Georgia the exquisitely lovely ballerina!
Chelsea, Bree and Chanel who is seen here innocently playing solitare, listening to her tunes. Later she would be planning payback for Tyler who yelled at the top of his lungs right before her performance, "I LOVE YOU CHANEL".
Truth is we ALL love you Chanel!

All the girls were amazing and had so much fun except for the hours of torture in the holding tank, and of course there was the missing hair ribbon/psycho mom, missing glove/mellow mom (you handled it much better mom), being late selling tix, using my powerful name tag to sneak treats and take pics, and doing some highly frowned upon videography. That's show biz for ya.

Breanna said she never wanted to get off the stage, she felt so comfortable up there.
Erika asked Bobbi how she could go about getting discovered. These 2 are on their way!

Breezy you were a delight to watch this weekend! You took classes this year that forced you to keep up with the older kids and you just went for it! You have some mad dance moves and seeing your huge smile up there made me happier than I can say! I'm so proud of you and I love you!!

Lazer Tag 11 Yr Old Style

The boys all got to be on the same team and had an absolute blast.
Back at the house, a little be-lated celebration.
Jake had the best time and is already planning his next trip back.

Scout Camp

Let's just say our ward is full of some pretty amazing scout leaders.
Jake had a lot of challenging and fun experiences from Lacross to Canoeing to lizard chasing.
Good Times Indeed!

The Graduate & B-Day G-ma

That's my nephew, Kyle.
The cute one in the yellow lei waving to us.
Waiting in the crowd for the big moment.
We definitely won the prize for the
loudest yell when they announced Kyle's name.
Some lady in front of us turned around and said,
"Nicely done!"

With over 400 graduates in Kyle's class,
Amber and Emily and I got to do lots of catching up.
And we were busy bugging the boys in front of us
with my long hair.

Kyle is second from the left. So handsome!!!

My big sister, Natalie (Kyle's mom), my baby sister, Mindi, my Mom and Dad
(and Mindi's Cooper sneakin in on the oldies pic).

Nicole and Luke

Time to celebrate Grandma's birthday.
Isn't Spinder cute and you'd never believe she's pregnant, due in Oct.
with my niece!!

These 3 refused to jump in on the previous picture,
but they should know better.
And can someone tell Jer we're going to a Padre game?
Would like to bring him home alive.

Jake, Spinder and Sawyer on the Trolly.

Grandpa hooked us up with great seats!

Padres fans every one of em!
There were also some very loud Nationals Fans sitting next to us.
They were kind enough to start the wave for us.
And after 152 times of "1.....,2.....,3...."
it did finally make it all the way around the stadium.
So glad we were a part of that.

Love you Mom! Happy Be-lated Birthday!!

Thanks Dad! What a great night.
Even got free bobble-heads!
SCORE!

Eleven

Oh baby....
Turned devastatingly handsome 11 year old.

It was the last day of school and then we left for CA.
It was kind of a crazy day, but Jake was a champ about it and had lots to celebrate.
Breanna did chores to the tune of
$31 and spent every penny on presents for Jake.

We got to G&Gs after midnight but Grandma and Grandpa
said cake and presents could not wait.
So we dove in!

Jake, you are truly one of a kind and we wouldn't have it any other way!
You are our jokester, inventor, outdoorsman, DSI king, Gogos trader, artist, animal rights activist, treasure collector, daydreamer, subliminal listener, babysitter, and newest #1 fan of the Lotus (thanks g-pa).
We all love you so much!
HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY!
