THE END

...Of the Garage Project
....Of Cub Scouts
(Jake got his Arrow of Light tonight)

...Of Park Days

....Of Soccer

(The team went undefeated thanks to the great subbing of these two).

...Of a Swim Lesson
( It isn't the end of swimming
but this is what the end of a lesson with Miss Karen looks like:
Stamps Suckers and Smiles)
.....of School
...Of Art Class

...Of the Unit on Rome (which led to The Roman Feast)

...Of Third Grade with Mrs. Hannah

....Of Fifth Grade with Mr. Hodor.
And Jake wanted me to add one more...
It's the end of being 10 because
tomorrow, this kid's 11.
It may be the end of many things,
but it's the beginning of a
FABULOUS SUMMER!
Can't Even Wait!

Little Jumping Beans

Nothing better than doing this with someone else your size.
Jumping, running, giggling, bouncing, rolling, laughing.
Watching them made my morning!

Glorious Mother's Day

Started off with a good solid sleep in, breakfast in bed, and presents!
After chuch, we had a nice peaceful dinner....

Or was it? Actually it was. Jer delivered on my favorite Rays and I was in Mother's day heaven.

We've kind of trained the kids to spell things out rather than ask for them in front of the Lukester. So tonight they asked if they could have S-O-D-A with their dinner and Luke immediately said, " I want R-P-T-O-S too!". He may not know how to spell, but he knows if it's being spelled, he wants in on it.

Then a little quiet time while the kids jumped.

Followed by a fabulous walk.

A Dreamy Day!
Thanks Guys!!
And Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms
and women out there that I completely adore and want to be more like!
Especially you MOM!

Bree and her skills

She was magnificent in her piano recital last week
(thanks Denise!)

And then she went on to show her skills on the field.
Check out Breezy in white.... she's outnumbered 5:1.
No worries, Bree can take the heat.

Go Golden Ladybugs!
(Don't let the name intimidate you)
Lest I appear to be playing favorites, this kid has skills too.
And Jake....his skills involve getting strep a lot.
So he missed the piano recital (which he would have slayed) and his soccer game!
Next week, we'll be showcasing him without his strep!

Garage Envy

came down with a bad case of it, so....
Meanwhile, dang garage=
big time neglect of Luke.
Sacked out while watching Scooby Doo.

Jake took this pic.
His lips are doin' that thing they did when he was a baby.
Ohhh! lovin him!

Well, all done.
But with the way the walls turned out I just couldn't bear to
leave the floor looking like this:
So I got me a new recruit (kind of studly one too)

We scrubbed the floor til midnight, then the next day...

I think I'm in love.
Now what to do with all of this,
cuz there's no way it's going back.
Love how I can rarely get Luke
to hold still and smile for me in a pic,
but the second I tell him to get outta dodge,
he's posing perfectly, unders and all, refusing to move.
