Sugarland

Oh man this picture makes me just a little bit sad because it's missing SARAH!!!
She got strep and couldn't make it:(:(:(:(:(.
My heart hurt all night because of it!  We missed her so much!
Lawn seats made perfect when Matt asked a certain someone to scoot!
Nice work Matty!!!
I'm just a decoy in this picture of the man in the yellow shirt behind me.  Our view of him could not have been better.  He was the Dancing Queen Man.  Hands in his pockets groovin' all night long.
Except when he did the fist pump off the beat.
We learned a thing or two from him.
Rockin to Jamie's 'Stuck Like Glue'.
And most of all loved being there with Jer!!!
And love that he spotted the marquee and all the concerts coming up that we're gonna hit:)!
It was a gorgeous night, loved it all!!!
Next Time Checklist:
1. Beachball
2. Glowsticks
3. Short Chairs
4. Cowboy boots for me!
(and yes Matt and James (wherever you are), there WILL be a next time!)

My TEENAGE Son!

Jake turned 13 this weekend and he decided to not have a party this year,
but to take the money and run.  Smart kid!
And it worked out especially well that he decided to not go the party route because he was SO sick this week.  He had a virus, ear infection and Strep which meant he had a fever for 4 days straight and was just miserable.  He missed finals in every class except 1.  (He has to make them up next week, such a bummer!) And even though he was not feeling 100%, we decided to sneak him out to Olive Garden for a quick birthday dinner to celebrate.
And what does he order here, you ask?
Salad.  Just Salad. LOTS OF IT!

Then we strolled over to Petco to look at possible future pets.
The next day was his actual birthday, and he was still not feeling good.  So we did his birthday pajama style and hung out all day and watched movies,  played video games and did projects.
Jake also opened a few presents...

And went on a little treasure hunt for more.
13 balloons with $13 inside of them.
And although he didn't even eat a single bite,
we made him sit up long enough to sing to him and he blew out those
13 CANDLES.
Poor guy! Stinks to be sick on your birthday!!
But we are so glad we got to stay home and have you all to ourselves.
WE LOVE YOU JAKE!!!
CANNOT BELIEVE YOU ARE 13!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Bree's Last Day of 5th Grade

Luke and I brought Popsicles to help celebrate and we found Sierra....
 and more friends...
 and Georgia....
and a bunch of girls playing tetherball.
 Including Miss Macie.
Aww I love all of these girls!
This is her phenomenal teacher, Mr. Goodrich.
And her favorite Art teacher, Mr. Martynencko.
(You should have seen the line to get a picture with him!)
Breanna, I can't believe you're middle-school bound!
What happened to my baby girl?
I LOVE YOU!!!!!
(And PS, would have got some pics of Jake's last day too, but you know that's not very cool in 7th grade).

Donuts With Dad!

And this Dad was not about to miss it!
 A little singing...
and when I peeked in to see them, they were sitting on the rug, reading a story together.
So cute.
LOVE THEM!!!

Celebrating with Lisa

Happy Birthday LISA!!!
We loved our bird-flying yummy lunch.
Lisa, you are the ultimate party host, most organized and talented lady I've ever met, mom who sacrifices everything for her kiddos and the one true friend who I can count on to have my back when certain pranksters are out:).
Hope your birthday was as fabulous as you!
