Easter 2013

 Perfect morning with a little sleeping in, an awesome breakfast and a little Easter Story by Jer.

And of course some egg hunting.

 good thing we remembered to tell the girls the hunt was on:)

Thanks for all the fabulous food, great stories and 

devastating losses at games like catch phrase but not crazy golf.  

Easter this year was perfect!

There's No Place Like Home

 ...was the theme we went with this Spring Break and it turned out fabulous!
And seeing how our original destination was camping, I think we did alright.

We booked a night at the JW(thanks to our inside source) and lived it up in style.

The Nightlife was fab...we hardly saw these girls at all.  They were out and about.

These guys were content to hang out with the game cube.

These guys loved the stairs and fountains.

The pool the next day was heaven.

Luke got pretty sunburned and was loving the shade of the hat.

And we even got a little tennis in.

It was a dreamy staycation, just wish it could have been longer.

I have a feeling we will be back!

Spring Break 2013

Did not want this week to end!

Spring Training...

...aka name that tune night.  

Could not have been more perfect weather, or better lawn seats, or better licorice, or better games 

(like who can get a reaction to a stare down. Go Ang

although dancing is not technically a stare down).

Next year we gotta hit this more!

Girls Soccer Champions

Breezy and Georgia were part of the middle school soccer team that ended the season #1.  

We are so proud of you girls for working so hard and being so dedicated!  

St. Paddy Shennanigans

 The Leprechauns were up to no good this year, sneakin into my nailpolish and getting everyone's toes and nails....

 They did leave us a little note and treat thank goodness!

 Then dad got busy and made cornned beef and cabbage.  It was....interesting.

Cute Maryann and Elly joined us for our festive dinner and when we broke out the games, we started craving popcorn.  Sadly we had none, so we decided to go old school and cook some over the stove.  We also went old popcorn (2009) because that's all we had.  The kids were amazed to watch the corn pop (Breezy got burned from the spattering oil ouch!)  The 2009 popcorn tasted....interesting.  

But we all ate it and lived to tell about it.

It was a fabulous St Paddy's Day!!

Birthday

The bestest girlfriends on the planet got together and had an awesome pizza bday lunch for me complete with my favorite costco cake.  It was the perfect afternoon!!!  Made me feel so loved!

 Then the family hit the movie OZ (Jake and Jer even skipped YM for moi!) and we went to Red Robin for dinner.

 Then home fore some spectacular and oh so thoughtful presents!
Thank you my sweetest fam for spoiling me rotten.

 Gma Smith made these and sent them all the way from South Africa.
So cool!!

And Emily made the cutest countdown board ever.  Love it.
