Go Kart Date Night!

These lovebirds kicked the night off sharing a romantic meal (with all 14 of us).
Then we were introduced to the world of racing.
The guys were up first.
Gates. Helmet? Nervous!
Lookin sweet Jer, aka 'Cor Speed'.
(after his Corolla...might have been doomed from the get-go with a name like that)

Oh my goodness, I never knew racing would be so much FUN!
LOVED IT!!
(just wish I would've got to race Jer!)
I laughed the entire time we were out there on the track, it was honestly a blast.
Angie took it a little more seriously (check out that look:).
Loved hearing her laugh her head off as she flew by me.
Followed by Riley.
Then Sarah.
And Ashley.

Top 4 Rankings of the first girls' race (I think):
1. Riley
2. Angie
3. Ashley
4. Sarah

Tight, Hot and Steamy.
Those helmets were all that.

This night will definitely go down in the books!
Here's a top 12 countdown on the best things about it:

12. You can pick up Brit and we'll meet at your house.
11. Flawlessly maneuvered seating for 14.
10. Fortune cookies: The after reading.
 9. Is this my seat belt?
8. Angie's spot.
7. All bets on Jer...
6. The guys getting denied (multiple times) on the lights out movie.
5. Maryann's crash, flying helmet parts and shutting down the race.
4. 9:59 DQ stop.
3. James on being impotant.
2. Jon on AWESOME.
and the number one thing about this night.....
 1. IT EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS!!!

Thanks Ashley and Sarah for one of the best date nights ever!
"It was awesome!"

Hunger Games

Have to admit I was a very excited about this movie.
And it was on the money.
It's hard to believe the majority of the people on this long row did NOT read the books.
Crazy!
But we all loved it.
Even Jer who had thumbs down at the beginning of it was 90% thumbs up by the end
(he does not like dark movies so that's saying a lot!)

And you know what else I loved?
Loved that Shannyn and Jon were there 1st in line.
And that they sacrificed their prime spots to be with the late comers.
Loved some free marriage counseling by Todd and Katie,
My popcorn shine blinding Kelby,
The best ever Spinder text that came thru during the movie,
5-year old clonkin flip flops,
The best outta your seat jumps and Angie's giggles,
Candice and Peter,
And learning you should ALWAYS use the buddy system when heading off to the bathroom.

Hurry, Catching Fire we can't wait!!!!

Saturday Night

We did sealings last night and I have to say I loved our sealer. He was witty and spiritual and full of knowledge. The boys interrogated him from the start. And he fired back, not missing a beat. My favorite was the amazing thing we learned about those neckties. (Just don't get Amber started on panty-hose.)  After sealings, we might have been in the dressing room all night but Maynhia finally managed to pull Maryann and Amber out of their deep talk (and zippering). You wouldn't think Maynhia could take on those two, but she also threw the smack down on our laundering/attending policies earlier that evening.  She might have been on a roll and I liked it! So by the time we got in the car, we were HUNGRY. We finally got to the restaurant (after Packy and I serenaded everyone to Lucille) and then it was serious business.
After I told everyone how dreadfully boring I was, always eating the same old thing, someone ordered DEEP FRIED PICKLES.  And there went my credibility.
Maryann might have snapped this frightful picture, but I'm pretty sure it was Jer who was the most stunned to see me bite into this never before tried delicacy. It was yum!
Don't you want to just sink your teeth into that?
Eric spent the better part of dinner taking unflattering pictures of me scarfing down my dinner. Then he passed them around the table and posted them on FB. So I was determined to return the favor:
Love how Maynhia is looking all foxy and Eric, well, let's just let the picture speak for itself.  I think the best part of the night was all of us fitting perfectly in the Fisher mobile...too bad they refused to be in this pic, stinkers. I also loved Maryann and Patrick's seaward ways, Eric's spot-on call on the Quebecian French, all of those Indian names that made me really think about those people, and Jer and I managing to get split up everytime we turned around.
Next time we call backseat.
It was a way fun night!
And today Jer was home almost all day and the kids were in heaven. He's under there somewhere.

Whooo-Wii!

This gut-busting hysteria could only be caused by one thing....
th
The guys were on a roll with their booty shaking, tongue flailing moves.
The chicken and the swan.
These girls definitely brought the moves!

Might have been the funniest night ever.
And it's possible Jer and I kept it going after everyone went home:)
